Despite separate bedrooms, the former First Couple shares one important routine. Every night, they eat dinner together. It’s their way of staying connected. 
An insider revealed, “They dined together nightly, even though they didn’t share a room.” During their White House stay, Trump slept near the Yellow Oval Room. Melania had her own private quarters.
Some compare their setup to Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. They also had separate rooms but a strong, lasting marriage.
Staff members in the White House saw no signs of tension. One source said, “There was no coldness. The energy in the residence was warm. Staff liked them.”
Recent public moments have added fuel to talk of a revived bond. Trump has been seen holding hands with Melania. Photos show them laughing, smiling, even kissing at the Vatican.
Insiders believe age may be softening Trump. “He leans on her for support—both emotionally and physically,” one said. Trump turns 79 this June. Melania just turned 55.
